HR and the employees line manager must work together to ensure that remote workers adhere to the full time and flexi hours policies and procedures in place regarding working from home.

The company IT technician will set up a remote workstation or configure a laptop at the remote employee’s home. This includes all the connections and equipment required to operate the system remotely. They will ensure the system is secure and has the required security programs in place on the machines. Printers will be provided and configured. Full remote support will be available to the remote employee and onsite visits when required.

IT will set up the software and webcam and other requirements for the employee to be able to connect to the office for meetings etc
